Chanukiah
A Chanukiah, also known as a Hanukkah menorah, is a special nine-branched candelabrum used during the Jewish festival of Hanukkah. It holds eight candles, one for each night of the holiday, plus a "helper" candle called the shamash used to light the others. Each night, an additional candle is lit to commemorate the miracle of the oil lasting eight days in the Holy Temple. The Chanukiah is often decorated and placed in a prominent location to celebrate the holiday's themes of light, resilience, and spiritual renewal.
