Champagne Corks
Champagne corks are specialized stoppers designed to contain the pressurized carbon dioxide produced during fermentation. Made typically from cork or synthetic materials, they are fitted with a wire cage called a muselet to secure the high pressure inside the bottle. When opened, the pressure forces the cork to pop out with a characteristic 'pop,' releasing the built-up gas and bubbles. Properly sealed, champagne corks preserve the wine’s carbonation and quality over time, while their design ensures safety and ease of opening for consumers.
