Chameleon
A chameleon is a type of reptile known for its remarkable ability to change the color of its skin. This color change helps it communicate, regulate temperature, or blend into its surroundings for camouflage. The chameleon's skin contains special cells called chromatophores, which expand or contract to produce different colors. Beyond its color-changing skills, a chameleon has a long, sticky tongue for catching insects and independently moving eyes, allowing it to observe its environment in multiple directions. These adaptive features make the chameleon a fascinating example of biological versatility and survival strategy.
