Chalmers' “Zombie Argument”
Chalmers' "Zombie Argument" suggests that it's logically possible for a creature—called a "philosophical zombie"—to behave exactly like a human, with the same actions and responses, but lack any inner experience or consciousness. If such zombies are conceivable, it raises questions about whether consciousness is just a physical process or something extra. The argument challenges physicalist views by implying that knowing all the physical facts doesn’t necessarily explain why or how we have subjective experiences—our inner "feel" of being aware.
