Chakma language
Chakma is a language spoken predominantly by the Chakma people, an ethnic group in regions like Bangladesh, India, and Myanmar. It belongs to the Indo-Aryan language family, sharing similarities with Bengali and Assamese but has its own unique alphabet and pronunciation. Chakma uses its own script called "Modified Chakma script," which is derived from the Brahmi script, and is used for writing cultural, religious, and everyday communication. Although less widespread, it plays an important role in preserving the cultural identity and traditions of the Chakma community.
