
Chahamana
The Chahamana, also known as the Chauhans, were an influential medieval Indian dynasty that ruled parts of northwestern India, especially present-day Rajasthan, from around the 9th to the 12th centuries. They are renowned for establishing a strong regional kingdom, building impressive forts and temples, and resisting invasions from external powers like the Delhi Sultanate. Their most famous ruler, Prithviraj Chauhan, is celebrated for his valor and leadership in battles.
