cerebrospinal fluid dynamics
Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is a clear, watery substance that surrounds and cushions the brain and spinal cord. It is produced mainly in the brain's ventricles, circulates through the central nervous system’s spaces, and helps remove waste while providing nutrients. CSF flows in a regulated cycle, maintaining pressure and volume to protect the brain from injury. It is absorbed back into the bloodstream through specialized structures called arachnoid granulations. This dynamic process ensures the brain remains stable, well-nourished, and protected within the skull and spinal canal.
