Central Conference of American Rabbis (CCAR)

The Central Conference of American Rabbis (CCAR) is the main professional organization for Reform Jewish rabbis in North America. It provides support, education, and leadership development, and promotes religious and social innovation within Reform Judaism. The CCAR helps guide its members in pastoral care, social justice, and community engagement, and works to shape spiritual practices and ethical standards within the movement. It also publishes prayer books and other resources to serve Reform congregations. Essentially, the CCAR fosters collaboration among rabbis to strengthen Reform Jewish practice and values across North America.
