Cement Production Process

Cement production starts by extracting raw materials like limestone and clay from quarries. These are crushed and heated in a kiln to about 1450°C, transforming them into a molten, fiery substance called clinker. The clinker is cooled and mixed with small amounts of gypsum to control setting time. This mixture is then ground into a fine powder, which is cement. When mixed with water and other materials, cement forms concrete, a strong binding material used in construction. The entire process involves carefully controlled heating, mixing, and grinding to produce a consistent, high-quality cement.
