Cellular Structures

Cells are the basic building blocks of all living organisms. They are tiny, organized structures that perform specific functions necessary for life. Each cell has parts called organelles, like the nucleus (which contains genetic information), mitochondria (powerhouses producing energy), and the cell membrane (protective outer layer controlling what enters and exits). These structures work together to support the cell’s survival, growth, and reproduction. Think of a cell as a miniature city, with various components functioning together efficiently to keep the entire organism healthy and active.
