Celestia

Celestia is an open-source blockchain platform that enables developers to create and run decentralized applications separately from the main blockchain. Unlike traditional blockchains, Celestia separates consensus (agreeing on the order of transactions) from execution (processing transactions). This modular approach allows multiple independent blockchains, called "rollups," to share security and infrastructure, improving scalability and flexibility. Think of Celestia as a foundation that provides the core rules for ordering transactions, while individual applications build on top, making the system more customizable and efficient.
