CDP Science-Based Targets

Science-Based Targets (SBTs) are climate goals set by companies to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions in line with the latest climate science, aiming to limit global warming to well below 2°C, preferably to 1.5°C. The CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) helps companies disclose their environmental impact and encourages them to adopt these scientifically grounded targets. Essentially, CDP Science-Based Targets guide companies to set ambitious, credible emissions reduction plans that contribute meaningfully to addressing climate change, ensuring their efforts are aligned with global climate goals based on current scientific understanding.
