CCSSO

CCSSO stands for the Council of Chief State School Officers, a nonprofit organization composed of the top education leaders—such as state superintendents and education commissioners—from all U.S. states and territories. Its primary role is to promote effective education policies, share best practices, and support states in improving student achievement and educational equity. CCSSO facilitates collaboration among states to develop standards, implement reforms, and address challenges in K-12 education. Ultimately, it aims to strengthen public education systems nationwide by providing expertise, leadership, and coordination among state education agencies.
