Cava grapes
Cava is a sparkling wine from Spain, mainly produced in the Catalonia region. It’s traditionally made using the "Methode Traditionnelle," similar to Champagne, which involves a second fermentation in the bottle to create bubbles. The primary grapes used are Macabeo, Parellada, and Xarel·lo. Macabeo adds fruitiness and floral notes, Parellada provides elegance and fresh acidity, and Xarel·lo contributes structure and body. These grapes together produce Cava with crispness, freshness, and complex flavors, making it a versatile and celebrated sparkling wine.
