causal realism

Causal realism is the idea that there are real, objective causes behind the events we observe in the world. It suggests that things happen because of specific reasons or factors, independent of our thoughts or beliefs. For example, dropping a glass causes it to break, not just because we expect it to. Causal realism holds that these causes exist out there, in reality, and can be studied and understood through scientific investigation, rather than being mere patterns or constructs created by human minds.
