Caturyuga

Caturyuga refers to a cycle of four ages in Hindu tradition, depicting the universe’s gradual decline in virtue and righteousness. These ages are Satya Yuga (Golden Age), Treta Yuga, Dvapara Yuga, and Kali Yuga (Dark Age). Together, they span thousands of years, with Satya Yuga being the most virtuous and Kali Yuga the least. The cycle illustrates cosmic and moral evolution, with each age lasting progressively less time and characterized by decreasing spiritual quality. Ultimately, after Kali Yuga, the cycle begins anew, reflecting the recurring nature of cosmic creation and destruction.
