Cattell Taxonomy
The Cattell Taxonomy is a scientific framework that categorizes human intelligence into different types. It identifies two broad areas: fluid intelligence, which involves problem-solving and adapting to new situations, and crystallized intelligence, which is gained through experience and learning. Within these areas, Cattell further divided intelligence into specific skills, such as reasoning, memory, and verbal ability. This taxonomy helps psychologists better understand the diverse ways people think and solve problems, providing a detailed map of human mental capabilities that can inform education, diagnosis, and personal development.
