Catholic clergy

Catholic clergy are men who have been ordained to serve as religious leaders and ministers within the Catholic Church. They include priests, bishops, deacons, and the pope, each with specific roles in worship, teaching, and guiding the faith community. Clergy are responsible for celebrating sacraments, providing spiritual guidance, and administering church functions. They often undergo extensive theological training and commit to a life of service, humility, and celibacy (in most cases). Their purpose is to foster spiritual growth, uphold church doctrine, and serve as intermediaries between God and the faithful.
