Castle Drogo

Castle Drogo is a historic hillside castle located in Devon, England, built between 1910 and 1930 for wealthy architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, who also designed its unique blend of medieval and baronial architectural styles. Constructed primarily from local granite and stone, it features a rugged, fortress-like appearance set amidst scenic countryside. The castle was intended as a hunting lodge but was never fully completed, and it stands as a notable example of early 20th-century British architecture.
