Cashflow Quadrants

The Cashflow Quadrants, popularized by Robert Kiyosaki, categorize how people earn income. There are four types: Employee (E) works for a salary; Self-Employed (S) owns a job, like a doctor or freelancer; Business Owner (B) builds systems that work for them; and Investor (I) earns passive income through investments. Moving from E and S to B and I can lead to greater financial freedom, as the latter rely less on active work. The model encourages shifting mindset and strategies toward building income streams that generate wealth passively.
