CASEVAC
CASEVAC, short for Casualty Evacuation, is a military or emergency process of quickly transporting injured individuals from the scene of an incident to a medical facility for treatment. It involves moving patients using specialized vehicles like helicopters or ambulances, often over challenging terrain or in combat zones. The goal is to provide rapid, safe medical transportation to improve the injured person's chances of recovery. Unlike deliberate medical evacuations planned in advance, CASEVAC is typically performed as an urgent response to emergencies.
