Carthaginian Culture

Carthaginian culture was centered around trade, maritime prowess, and strong city-state identity in North Africa, especially in what is now Tunisia. Influenced by Phoenician roots, they built a powerful economy through commerce, establishing colonies across the Mediterranean. Their society valued skillful navigation, craftsmanship, and religious rituals honoring deities like Baal. Carthaginians were also known for their impressive naval capabilities and advanced urban planning. Despite their dominance in trade and military, their culture was eventually overshadowed by Rome after the Punic Wars, yet they left a legacy of exceptional seafaring and urban development.
