CART Therapy

CAR T-cell therapy is a groundbreaking cancer treatment that uses a patient’s own immune cells to fight the disease. Doctors collect T-cells (a type of immune cell) from the blood, modify them in a lab to better recognize and attack cancer cells, then infuse them back into the patient. These engineered cells, called CAR T-cells, seek out and destroy cancer cells more effectively.
