CARICOM Community
CARICOM, or the Caribbean Community, is a group of Caribbean countries working together to promote economic growth, social development, and regional stability. Founded in 1973, its members collaborate on trade, health, education, and infrastructure projects to improve the quality of life for their citizens. CARICOM also aims to strengthen unity among member states, enhance their collective influence internationally, and address common challenges such as climate change and security. Essentially, it’s a partnership that helps Caribbean nations support each other and grow stronger together.
