Cardiac Devices
Cardiac devices are medical tools implanted in or used around the heart to help it function properly. Common devices include pacemakers, which regulate abnormal heart rhythms by sending electrical signals; implantable defibrillators, which detect dangerous arrhythmias and deliver shocks to restore normal rhythm; and left ventricular assist devices, which help the heart pump blood more effectively. These devices improve quality of life and can be life-saving for individuals with heart rhythm disorders or heart failure. They work by continuously monitoring the heart and providing appropriate electrical support when needed.
