Card Skimmers
Card skimmers are malicious devices installed on card readers, such as ATMs or gas pumps, that secretly capture the data from the magnetic strip or chip when you swipe or insert your card. Criminals use these devices to复制your card information, which they can then use to make unauthorized transactions or create counterfeit cards. Skimmers are often discreet and placed without the cardholder's knowledge, making them difficult to detect. To protect yourself, inspect card readers for any unusual attachments or loose parts, and monitor your bank statements regularly for suspicious activity.
