carbon capture techniques

Carbon capture involves trapping carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions produced by industries and power plants before they enter the atmosphere. This is done using specialized equipment that either captures CO₂ directly from the emission sources or removes it from the air later. Once captured, the CO₂ is compressed and transported—usually via pipelines—to be stored underground in geological formations or utilized in products like concrete or fuels. These techniques help reduce greenhouse gases and combat climate change by preventing CO₂ from contributing to global warming.
