Capture the Flag

Capture the Flag (CTF) is a cybersecurity competition where teams simulate defense and attack scenarios. Participants work to find hidden digital "flags"—specific pieces of data or code—by solving challenges related to hacking,cryptography, or system vulnerabilities. Defenders aim to protect their own flags, while attackers try to locate and steal opponents' flags. The goal is to demonstrate technical skills, problem-solving, and teamwork in a controlled environment, often used for training, testing security knowledge, or recruiting cybersecurity talent. It combines strategy, technical expertise, and quick thinking to simulate real-world security challenges.
