Capstan assembly

A Capstan assembly is a mechanical device used to control and adjust the tension of ropes, cables, or lines. It consists of a rotating drum or spool around which the line is wound, with a powerful motor or manual handle that turns the drum. As the drum spins, it either pulls in or releases the line, allowing precise tension control.
