Capricornus
Capricornus is a prominent constellation in the zodiac, representing a mythical sea-goat—a creature with the front half goat and the tail of a fish. Located along the ecliptic, it’s visible in the night sky between December and March. Its stars form a pattern resembling the shape of a goat-fish hybrid. Historically, Capricornus has been linked to agriculture and harvest seasons. In astrology, people born under the Capricorn sign (December 22–January 19) are often associated with traits like discipline, responsibility, and ambition. The constellation also contains various deep-sky objects for astronomers, including galaxies and star clusters.
