Cape Floral Region

The Cape Floral Region in South Africa is a small but incredibly rich area known for its extraordinary plant diversity and unique species found nowhere else. Covering about 90,000 square kilometers around the Cape of Good Hope, it is one of the world's biodiversity hotspots.
