Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group

The Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) is an organization within the Australian Department of Defence responsible for managing the development, procurement, and ongoing support of military equipment and systems. Its role is to ensure that the Australian Defence Force has reliable, modern, and effective equipment—such as ships, submarines, aircraft, and weapons—throughout their lifecycle.
