Cao Wei state
Cao Wei was one of the three main kingdoms during China's Three Kingdoms period (220-280 AD), established after the fall of the Han dynasty. Founded by Cao Cao's son, Cao Pi, it was characterized by strong centralized government, military prowess, and political ambition. The state controlled northern China and sought to reunify the region amid ongoing conflicts with rival states, Shu and Wu. Cao Wei played a significant role in Chinese history for its consolidation of power and contributions to military strategy and governance, ultimately leading to its replacement by the Jin dynasty in 265 AD.
