Cancer (Stage II)
Stage II cancer indicates the disease has grown beyond the original tumor site and may have spread to nearby tissues or lymph nodes, but it has not yet spread to distant parts of the body. The tumor is usually larger or more invasive than in earlier stages. Treatment often involves surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy to remove or destroy the cancer. Stage II recognition helps doctors plan appropriate, targeted treatments to improve the chances of successful management and potential cure. It’s a serious stage, but often still highly treatable with prompt and effective intervention.
