Canary deployment
Canary deployment is a strategy for releasing software updates gradually. Instead of launching a new version to all users at once, the update is first rolled out to a small group—like a "canary in a coal mine." This allows teams to monitor the new version for issues or bugs with minimal impact. If no problems arise, the update is then gradually made available to more users until everyone is on the new version. This approach reduces risk and helps ensure a smooth, reliable deployment.
