Canadian Thistle

Canadian thistle is an invasive perennial weed known for its rapid spreading and spiny stems. It reproduces through deeply embedded roots and prolific seed production, allowing it to quickly dominate fields, pastures, and roadside areas. Its aggressive growth can crowd out native plants, reduce crop yields, and be costly to control. Despite its name, it is not native to Canada and is considered a noxious weed in many regions.
