Canadian Television Fund

The Canadian Television Fund (CTF) was a government-supported program that provided financial assistance to Canadian television producers. Its goal was to promote the creation of quality Canadian content and support the growth of the local TV industry. By funding various projects, it helped producers develop, produce, and distribute television shows that reflect Canadian culture and stories. The CTF operated through partnerships between government agencies, broadcasters, and industry stakeholders. In 2014, its functions were integrated into a new organization called the Canada Media Fund, which continues to support Canadian digital media and television programming.
