Canada Arm
The Canadarm is a robotic arm developed by Canada for space missions, especially on the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station. It’s designed to perform precise tasks such as capturing and docking spacecraft, deploying satellites, and assisting astronauts with repairs outside the station. The arm extends about 15 meters, has multiple joints for flexibility, and is operated remotely by ground control or astronauts. Essentially, it acts as a highly versatile digital hand in space, enabling complex maneuvers and tasks that are challenging or impossible for humans to perform manually in the microgravity environment.
