Canaanite Languages
Canaanite languages are a group of ancient Semitic languages once spoken in the Levant region, including modern-day Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria. They include Hebrew, Phoenician, and Moabite, among others. These languages share common roots and features, such as similar grammar and vocabulary, and played a key role in the development of written language and culture in the ancient Near East. Over time, many of these languages evolved or disappeared, but their influence remains evident in modern Hebrew and historical inscriptions.
