Camphill Communities

Camphill Communities are intentional living and working environments where people with developmental disabilities, special needs, or health challenges live, learn, and contribute alongside volunteers and staff. Rooted in anthroposophy, they emphasize community, mutual support, and meaningful activity, such as farming, crafts, or caregiving. The goal is to foster independence, dignity, and social connection, creating inclusive spaces where everyone’s abilities are valued. These communities combine residential living, employment, and education, promoting holistic well-being and a sense of belonging for all members.
