Campanile (Sather Tower)
Campanile, also known as Sather Tower, is a prominent clock and observation tower on the University of California, Berkeley campus. Standing approximately 307 feet tall, it was completed in 1914 and is named after John Sather, a benefactor. The tower features a large clock at the top and offers an observation deck with panoramic views of the Bay Area. Constructed in a classical Italianate style, it serves as both a campus landmark and a symbol of the university's history and academic excellence.
