Camouflage techniques
Camouflage techniques involve blending an object or individual into their surroundings to avoid detection. This is achieved through color matching, patterns, and textures that mimic the environment—like wearing clothing that resembles the foliage or using materials that resemble the terrain. Some methods also include disrupting outlines with irregular shapes or shadows, making it harder for the observer to distinguish the object from its background. Camouflage can be natural, such as animal fur or scales, or artificial, like military gear or art. Its goal is to deceive the eye, allowing the concealed subject to remain unnoticed or less conspicuous.
