Cambyses II

Cambyses II was an ancient Persian king who ruled from around 530 BCE. He was the son of Cyrus the Great and expanded the Persian Empire by conquering Egypt. Known for his ambitious military campaigns, Cambyses was also recognized for his authoritarian rule and sometimes harsh treatment of his subjects.
