Callicrates

Callicrates was an ancient Greek architect and sculptor who, around the 5th century BCE, played a key role in designing and constructing important classical buildings. Most notably, he co-designed the Parthenon on the Acropolis of Athens, a symbol of Greek artistry and architecture. Callicrates was part of a team working during Athens’ Golden Age, applying advanced architectural techniques to create structures that combined beauty, stability, and harmony.
