California Angels
The California Angels were a professional baseball team based in California, originally founded as the Los Angeles Angeles of Anaheim in 1961. Over the years, they went through several name changes before becoming the Anaheim Angels and eventually the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. They are a member of Major League Baseball's American League, competing in the West Division. Known for their distinctive red, navy, and silver team colors, the Angels have a passionate fan base, a history of notable players, and won their first World Series title in 2002. They are now simply called the Los Angeles Angels.
