Cain and Abel
Cain and Abel are two brothers from the Bible, the sons of Adam and Eve. Cain was a farmer who grew crops, and Abel was a shepherd who tended sheep. Both offered sacrifices to God—Cain from his harvest and Abel from his flock. God favored Abel’s offering, but not Cain’s. Feeling rejected and angry, Cain became jealous and, in a moment of impulse, murdered Abel. Their story highlights themes of jealousy, obedience, and moral responsibility, serving as a foundational moral lesson about the consequences of unchecked emotions and actions.
