CAE Speaking Test

The CAE Speaking Test evaluates your spoken English skills through a face-to-face interview with an examiner and a collaborative task with another candidate. It consists of three parts: in the first, you introduce yourself and answer questions; in the second, you participate in a discussion based on prompt cards; and in the third, you work together on a task, such as debating or problem-solving. The test assesses fluency, coherence, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary, aiming to determine your ability to communicate effectively in professional and social contexts. It typically lasts around 15 minutes.
