Cabin Pressure

Cabin pressure refers to the controlled air pressure inside an aircraft’s cabin, maintained at a comfortable and safe level during flight. Since flying at high altitudes exposes passengers to lower outside air pressure and reduced oxygen levels, the aircraft's pressurization system pumps and circulates conditioned air, simulating conditions similar to being at around 6,000 to 8,000 feet elevation. This ensures adequate oxygen supply and comfort for passengers and crew. Proper cabin pressure regulation is crucial for preventing altitude-related health issues and maintaining the structural integrity of the aircraft.
