It consists of elected representatives called deputies, who represent different regions of the country. The chamber plays a key role in approving budgets, supervising the executive branch, and shaping legislation. Members are elected every three years through a combination of direct voting in districts and proportional representation. The Cámara de Diputados works alongside the Senate to ensure the country's laws and policies reflect the diverse interests of Mexican citizens.
