Cálculo

Cálculo, or calculus, is a branch of mathematics that studies how things change and accumulate. It helps us understand the behavior of functions—how they grow, shrink, or stay constant—by analyzing rates of change (derivatives) and total amounts (integrals). For example, calculus explains how a car accelerates at a specific moment or how the area under a curve represents total distance traveled. It’s fundamental in science, engineering, economics, and many fields where understanding change and accumulation is essential.
